What a Signal Looks Like

CommodIQ in Action

Real signals. Real data. Updated every 2 minutes.

STRONG signals when news and technical align

One signal per instrument. No noise.

Updated every 2 minutes around the clock

⚡ Power Signals. For Serious Traders.

While standard signals track breaking news in real time, Power Signals synthesize the full market picture. News consensus, macro regime, and five technical indicators combined into one high-conviction call. Available exclusively on Pro and Elite.

STANDARD SIGNAL

⚡ POWER SIGNAL

We cover three instruments. Deeply.

We track $USOIL, $XAUUSD, and $XAGUSD. Most platforms cover everything superficially. We'd rather be right on three than mediocre on thirty. More instruments coming, built on proven signal quality, not promises.

How to Read a Signal

Every CommodIQ signal gives you six pieces of intelligence at once. Here’s what each one means.

INSTRUMENT

The asset the signal applies to. We cover three: $USOIL (WTI crude oil), $XAUUSD (gold), and $XAGUSD (silver).

DIRECTION

BULLISH means price is expected to rise. BEARISH means price is expected to fall. Driven by AI analysis of breaking news updated every 2 minutes.

SIGNAL STRENGTH

What makes CommodIQ different. Every signal is graded by how well the news and technical indicators agree.

MAGNITUDE

How significant the expected price move is, rated 1 to 5.1 - Minor noise
2 - Worth noting
3 - Moderate impact
4 - Significant move expected
5 - Major market-moving event

CONFIDENCE

How certain the AI is about its analysis based on source credibility and historical precedent. Rated 1 to 5. A confidence of 5 means near-certain based on verified data.

RISK

How volatile or unpredictable the situation is.RISK LOW: Clear directional signal. Lower position risk.
RISK MED: Some conflicting factors present. Size accordingly.
RISK HIGH: High volatility expected. Use tight stop losses.

The Intelligence Behind Every Signal

Five technical indicators assessed in real time alongside every news event.

RSI - Relative Strength Index

Measures momentum. Above 70 means the overbought - price may reverse downward. Below 30 means oversold - price may bounce upward. Between 30 and 70 means neutral with room to move in either direction.

MACD - Moving Average Convergence Divergence

Measures trend direction and momentum. When MACD is positive and rising, momentum is bullish. When negative and falling, momentum is bearish. When MACD agrees with the news direction, signal strength increases.

ADX - Average Directional Index

Measures trend strength, not direction. Above 22 means a real trend is in place worth trading. Below 22 means the market is choppy and ranging. A signal with high ADX is more reliable regardless of direction.

Bollinger Bands

Show price volatility and extremes. When price is near the lower band it may be oversold and due to rise. When near the upper band it may be overbought and due to fall. Helps identify entry timing.

EMA - Exponential Moving Average

We track two EMAs: fast 9-period and slow 21-period. When the fast EMA crosses above the slow EMA it signals bullish momentum. When it crosses below, bearish momentum. EMA crossovers confirming the news direction increase signal strength.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1: How often are signals generated?

A: Our AI monitors 13 global news sources every 2 minutes around the clock. Signals are generated whenever relevant market-moving news breaks and technical conditions are assessed. During active market hours, you can expect multiple signals per day. During quiet periods, the app will show fewer signals, which is itself useful information.

Q2: What does it mean when there are no signals?

A: It means markets are currently in low-conviction conditions. No strong directional catalyst has been identified. This is CommodIQ working correctly. We would rather show you nothing than show you noise.

Q3: Why do some signals say WEAK even with high magnitude?

A: High magnitude means the news event is significant. WEAK means the technical indicators are not yet confirming the direction. This happens when fundamentals and price action temporarily disagree. Wait for technicals to align before acting.

Q4: What instruments do you cover?

A: Currently $USOIL (WTI crude oil), $XAUUSD (gold), and $XAGUSD (silver). More instruments will be added based on proven signal quality, not promises.

Q5: Is CommodIQ financial advice?

A: No. CommodIQ provides market intelligence signals for informational purposes only. All trading decisions are your own. Never trade more than you can afford to lose. CFD trading carries significant risk of loss.

Q6: What data sources do you use?

A: We aggregate news from 13 global sources, including energy, commodities, and macro financial feeds, updated in real time. Technical indicators are sourced from live market data for all three instruments using RSI, MACD, ADX, Bollinger Bands, and EMA on a 1-hour interval.

Q7: How is CommodIQ different from other signal apps?

A: Most signal apps either blast constant alerts or focus purely on technical analysis. CommodIQ combines breaking news analysis with five technical indicators to grade every signal as STRONG, MODERATE, or WEAK. We show you fewer signals, but every STRONG signal has both news and technical confirmation behind it.

Q8: What does the Risk rating mean?

A: LOW risk means a clear directional setup with minimal conflicting factors. MEDIUM risk means some uncertainty exists, but the primary direction is identifiable. HIGH risk means significant volatility is expected or a reversal is possible. Higher-risk signals require tighter stop-losses.

Q9: Can I use CommodIQ on any device?

A: Yes. CommodIQ is available as a mobile app on iOS and Android, and accessible via web browser on any device.

Q10: When will Pro and Elite plans be available?

A: Pro and Elite features including unlimited alerts, trade journal, Telegram bot and custom alerts are coming soon. Join the founding member waitlist for free lifetime Pro access in exchange for honest feedback.
